ABOUT DR. KEOHANE
Dr. John D. Keohane Jr. obtained his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 1983. Following this he underwent training in general surgery in Chicago at the University of Illinois followed by a residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario. Subsequent to this he underwent a Fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. David Ellis at the University of Toronto. Dr. Keohane began active practice in Edmonton at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in 1991.

At the present time Dr. Keohane is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery with the University of Alberta. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, he is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a Fellow and member of both the Canadian and the American Academies of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Keohane is the founder and medical director of The Advanced Facial and Nasal Surgery Centre, a Non-Hospital Surgical Facility, fully accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. This technically advanced state of the art centre allows for consultations, treatment and follow up all in one convenient, centrally located facility.
