TEMPORAL BROW LIFT

Temporal brow lift is a variation of endoscopic forehead lift and is indicated in those patients in which the central portion of the brow and forehead is in good position while the lateral outer one third of the brow is completely flat or slanted downwards.

In this procedure a 3 - 4 cm incision is made above the ear behind the hairline and the skin and muscles of the outer one third of the brow are then suspended into position such that there is a graceful curve to the outer one third of the eyebrow. In many instances this will be combined with a upper blepharoplasty.

This procedure requires minimal down time and many patients will be able to return to normal activities within five to ten days.
